Tele-commandments by DIVYA RAMAN

Divya Raman recently graduated from London College of Fashion with an MA in womenswear Digital Fashion. FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) is a design label conceived and created during her master's program. Her design ideology employs digital technology in fashion as a toy and tool. FMCG merges fashion and digital art through an original and unconventional approach in garment creation.

Her current collection 'Tele-commandments: for a cathodic soul' explores graphic narratives by the fusion of lenticular animation and digital textile print. The pieces were created in collaboration with an innovative print firm Riot of Colour, London.

In 2006 Divya was a finalist of Project Runway India and was subsequently invited to showcase at the Lakme Fashion week. In the past, she worked as a prêt-a-porter womenswear designer for a leading design house on international sport and street brands including Levi Strauss & co., Orsay and FILA.
