Back in June, designer Stefano Pilati debuted the first YSL New Vintage collection. It was an experiment in high-fashion recycling, and it sold out from Barneys New York in about a week and a half. The cotton drill Downtown bags went in the first day. Just in time for the holidays, the collection has resurfaced at the YSL flagships in New York, Paris and London in the form of the New Vintage II.
In this second ‘New Vintage’ collection, Pilati presents several important silhouettes transforming the archive fabrics with varied treatments and distinctive textile combinations.
