Romance was blooming, quite literally at Nina Ricci, Peter Copping's first show debut. Applique flowers bloomed over the hips of crumpled dresses, fully on skirts and over the bosom. Whilst separates veered towards the ladylike with belted coats, neat little jackets and pencil skirts, the flowers added an untempered feminitity to the proceedings. Black was the anchor colour with muted pastels, dashes of red, greys and bright blue thrown in.
